IRI Hosts National Youth Conference
July 11, 2003
July 4 - Nearly 300 Russians took part in their country's first national conference of the "Right Wing Youth," an event organized by IRI and the Union of Right Forces (SPS). SPS party leaders addressed participants and Russian rock stars encouraged them to become more politically active. IRI Country Director Sam Patten teamed with an SPS campaign strategist and an image consultant to give presentations on the role of Russian youth in electoral campaigns.
