President Crvenkovski Receives IRI Training
January 28, 2005
Chris Ingram, president of 411 Communications, a public opinion research and communications firm, recently concluded his second visit to Macedonia to train President Branko Crvenkovski on behalf of IRI. Ingram worked with the office of the president, his cabinet and the Social Democratic Union of Macedonia (SDSM) party leadership to develop more effective communications strategies.
Activities included media training for the cabinet, and strategic media planning for both short-term and long-term efforts. More specifically, Ingram worked to help President Crvenkovski communicate presidential initiatives to improve understanding of foreign investment opportunities, European Union integration and overall economic opportunities within the Republic of Macedonia.
Ingram has served in various capacities on Capitol Hill in Washington, and as a pollster and media consultant to trade associations, think tanks, and corporations. He has also previously assisted IRI's efforts in Kenya and Sudan where he worked with the Sudanese People's Liberation Movement.
