German Elections: Has Disinformation Been Disarmed

In a year full of European elections where Russian meddling has been unsuccessful, will the German election results continue this trend? Ten days before Germany’s national elections, we will examine the role of disinformation during the campaign period.

With a brand new survey of German public opinion from its Center for Insights in Survey Research, the International Republican Institute and other European experts will discuss the underlying weaknesses that make European democracies vulnerable to Russia’s meddling as well as examine the importance and value of the transatlantic relationship and U.S. - German cooperation.
