Thank you for your interest in volunteering for IRI.  IRI volunteers play a pivotal role in helping to advance democracy around the world.  As an IRI volunteer you will make a tangible difference in the lives of pro-democracy activists, aspiring leaders, elected officials and civic-minded citizens.

By sharing your personal expertise and experiences in such areas as: grassroots organization, campaign management, communications, economics, good governance, legislative process, legal reform, elections and civil society, you will impact the lives of many.  For more than 25 years, IRI volunteers have been helping people build thriving democracies.  Volunteers from across the United States and around the world support IRI's democracy programs.  They serve as expert trainers and election observers helping advance democracy and freedom.
