Washington, DC − The Arab Women’s Leadership Institute (AWLI), a program funded by the National Endowment for Democracy through IRI, launched its website today, www.arabwomenleadership.org.

Through trainings and conferences, AWLI supports the participation of women in public life and the political process throughout the region.  AWLI’s unique, cross-regional approach provides its participants intensive training in leadership, advocacy and governance where they gain the skills necessary to succeed as community leaders, civil servants and elected officials.
