Washington, DC – IRI today released its survey of Tbilisi public opinion (PDF).  The poll was conducted from November 25-December 3, 2009, and captured the overall atmosphere and mood of the people of Tbilsi.  The survey found that unemployment ranks as a top issue facing residents and job creation is a high priority.  Interest and participation in politics remains low, and 94 percent receive political information from TV news and programs.
