Tom Garrett, Vice President for Programs at IRI, discusses Afghanistan's parliamentary elections which will take place on September 18, 2010.  IRI has a team in Afghanistan to assess the elections, which is being led by Michael O’Hanlon, Director of Research and Senior Fellow for Foreign Policy at the Brookings Institute.
