Washington, D.C. – IRI issued the following statement in response to last weekend’s attack on innocent civilians at a New Year’s Eve celebration in Istanbul.
“IRI stands with the families of the victims and the people of all countries affected as they mourn the victims of this terrible act of terrorism. In particular, IRI mourns the deaths of three members of the Lebanese Forces Student Association, which works with the Youth of the European People’s Party and the International Youth Democratic Union, both partners of IRI. They are in our thoughts and prayers.”
