Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan – IRI today released its survey of Kyrgyzstan public opinion.  The poll was conducted May 5 – 25, 2023, through face-to-face computer-assisted personal interviewing (CAPI) at respondents’ homes. Interviews were conducted in Kyrgyz (84%), Russian (15%), and Uzbek (1%).

The randomly selected sample consists of 1,492 adult men and women, aged 18 and older. The sample has been weighted according to age group and gender using the National Statistical Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic Demographic Yearbook available at the beginning of 2021. 

The margin of error for the national sample will not exceed ± 2.5 percent with a 95 percent level of confidence.
