Ambassador Mark Green, President of IRI, issued the following statement in response to today’s terrorist attacks in Brussels, Belgium:
“Today’s attacks in Belgium are another terrible example of the dangerous and devastating effects of violent extremism around the world. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Belgian people and to all of our European colleagues. Rather than let these violent attacks define us, we must work together to reinvigorate the importance of freedom, hope and democracy everywhere.”
