IRI Statement: President Trump Announces Intent to Nominate IRI President Mark Green to Lead USAID

Washington, D.C.— The International Republican Institute (IRI) issued the following statement on the announcement of President Trump’s intent to nominate IRI President Mark Green to be Administrator of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID):

“IRI congratulates Ambassador Green on the announcement of his anticipated nomination to lead USAID. Throughout his career, Ambassador Green has worked tirelessly to advance democracy around the world, a priority we have no doubt will continue if he is confirmed.
