Jordanian Parliamentary Elections: IRI Observation Mission Features Prominently in International Media

On September 20, the International Republican Institute (IRI) deployed an international election observation mission to monitor Jordan’s parliamentary elections. IRI released a preliminary statement on September 21 which concluded that, despite isolated problems, most voters were able to cast their votes without any significant impediment.
