Tami Longaberger

Board Member

Tami Longaberger joined IRI’s Board of Directors in 2012 and is chair of IRI’s Arab Women’s Leadership Institute.  A successful businesswoman, Longaberger is the former chair of the board of the Longaberger Company.  In addition to her business leadership, Longaberger is active in numerous charitable campaigns and efforts to support women business owners.  In 2006, President George W. Bush appointed her chair of the National Women’s Business Council.  In 2004, she served as a member of the U.S. delegation to the United Nations Commission on Human Rights in Geneva, Switzerland.  Longaberger has previously served on the board of the Woodrow Wilson Center for International Scholars and as chair of the U.S. Executive Committee for the 2002 Helsinki Women Leaders Summit.
