The International Republican Institute (IRI) is honored to join evaluation experts convening in Minneapolis for the American Evaluation Association’s annual conference, Paths to the Future of Evaluation. IRI staff will be sharing lessons learned in program evaluation and hearing about best practices to maximize the impact of IRI programs.
IRI’s mission is to advance freedom and democracy worldwide. We do this every day around the world by strengthening citizen voices, making leaders more accountable and ensuring elections count. To maximize the impact our programs, we prioritize data-driven decision-making and setting up our programs to be sustainable beyond our direct support. IRI’s Office of Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning — or OMEL — works directly with program teams to identify and measure the outcomes of our work and evaluate the impact of our programs supporting democratic development around the world.
IRI’s internal evaluation team is excited to be a part of the American Evaluation Association’s annual conference, Paths to the Future of Evaluation in Minneapolis, this week. IRI evaluators will share tips and learnings from recent evaluation experiences and lead discussion sessions with fellow evaluators to exchange ideas and lessons, all with the goal of better supporting a rigorous monitoring, evaluation and learning practice at IRI.
We’ll be presenting with expert evaluators from the National Endowment for Democracy, the National Democratic Institute, the International Foundation for Electoral Systems, Westminster Foundation for Democracy, the Netherlands Institute for Multiparty Democracy, Integrity Global and Pact.
