“IRI congratulates President Biden on his inauguration as the 46th President of the United States. Today’s peaceful transition of power is a testament to the enduring strength of our American institutions, even when faced with historic challenges. While democracy is fragile, it is also resilient, and the United States showed that even when tested the will of the people will prevail.
“As America changes leadership after a free and fair election, we reaffirm our commitment to those around the world who fight for democratic values. We look forward to working with the Biden Administration as we advance the cause of freedom and democracy around the globe.”
