Marie is a communications and advocacy professional, focusing on democracy and climate resiliency programs at the Westminster Foundation for Democracy in Georgia. She also provides consultancy work for both local and international projects funded by the European Union and the United States Agency for International Development. As a certified trainer, Marie conducts workshops and training sessions on topics such as youth advocacy, campaign planning, and strategic communications. In her current role, she designs marketing strategies and communication plans and implements environmental advocacy campaigns that address local community issues. Additionally, Marie serves as a lecturer at the Europe Georgia Institute’s Academy on issues related to climate change. Her previous roles include Communications and Advocacy Manager at the Caucasus Environmental NGOs Network (CENN), Secretary General of the board at the International Society for Fair Elections and Democracy (ISFED), and Vice President of the European Democracy Youth Network (EYDN). Currently, she represents the youth interests as an EDYN Ambassador in Georgia and is a member of IRI’s Build Georgia program.
