Matt Adams

Matt Adams is the Director of Global Safety and Security at IRI. His interests include holistic security solutions to the multifaceted threats to democracy development, and innovative approaches to improving security in complex environments.

Adams joined IRI in 2017 and has since led the implementation of security development across the institute and at every level, from strategic policy to program implementation.

Prior to joining IRI, Adams worked for several premier security companies and had a military career.
