Sarah Rajtik is the Chief Operating Officer of the American Trucking Associations, the nation’s leading organization representing the interests of the trucking industry.
Sarah Rajtik, the trailblazing Chief Operating Officer of the American Trucking Associations, leads the nation’s foremost organization advocating for the trucking industry. In her role, she enhances processes and oversees the day-to-day functions of the developmental side of the ATA, including human resources, membership, sales, events, marketing, creative services, IT, building operations, and industry affairs. At the helm, she champions initiatives such as Share the Road, Workforce Heroes, Interstate One, Women In Motion, America’s Road Team, LEAD, Trucking U, and other outreach programs, promoting a pro-trucking, pro-safety, and pro-efficiency agenda on both national and state fronts.
Assuming the position of ATA COO in 2023, Rajtik previously served as the Executive Vice President for Human Resources, Operations, and Industry Affairs. Before her ATA tenure starting in 2017, she gained extensive human resources expertise at the RSR Company, DayBlink Consulting, and the Center for Shared Services.
Rajtik’s commitment extends beyond the boardroom; she co-chairs ATA’s Women In Motion Council, a driving force for empowering women in the trucking industry through advocacy and transformative programming. Her leadership extends to various boards, including the Dulles Society for Human Resource Management Chapter and the SHRM National Young Professionals Committee.
Recognized for her innovative work, Rajtik founded the SHRM Washington, D.C. Young Professionals Network in 2011 and has been a featured speaker at SHRM Regional Student Conferences and webinars. Her dedication to SHRM earned her acknowledgment as a key volunteer leader for her contributions to the Young Professional Initiative.
A distinguished academic, Rajtik holds two Bachelor’s Degrees from The Ohio State University and an MBA from Georgetown University. Originally from Marion, Ohio, she currently resides with her family in Arlington, Virginia, embodying her commitment to advancing the trucking industry and empowering its professionals.
