Islamabad, Pakistan – IRI released its survey of Pakistan public opinion. The poll, conducted between June 13-July 3, 2007, is a comprehensive analysis of attitudes regarding the Pakistani political landscape. IRI also released its analysis of the poll findings (IRI Index: Issues and Ratings, IRI Index: Parliamentary Elections, IRI Index: Musharraf’s Options, IRI Index: Institutional Ratings).
IRI has conducted surveys in Pakistan since 2002, including four national polls over the past 12 months. The goal of the program is to both gauge public opinion and to use this information in IRI’s work with Pakistan’s political parties.
