Washington, DC – IRI released its survey and analysis of public opinion in the Iraqi Kurdistan region, conducted December 8-15, 2010.

The randomly selected sample consisted of 1,000 Iraqi citizens eligible to vote and is a representation of the general Kurdistan population by age, gender, ethnicity, province, religion and education.  The margin of error for the national sample does not exceed ± 3.1 percent.

IRI has conducted surveys in Iraq since 2003.  This poll is part of IRI’s programming in Iraq designed to share information with relevant stakeholders to improve accountability and transparency in the political process.
